Session #1 - Sprint
Date & time: 2 June @ 15.00
Place: Kista-Ärvinge
Session description: Since the WDOC competition area is special this training gives a sense of what is needed for succeeding at WDOC – fast thinking at high speed and at the same time keeping up the strategic skill of reading ahead.
The sprint session at this camp contains an almost full-length sprint course and two shorter extra laps. The first course is partly containing 3D level challenges – something that will not occur in WDOC sprint but the fact that this forces you to keep ahead makes it relevant anyway. In the extra laps you must be a fast map reader since you can keep high speed. An extra dimension is that the course of this session is planned by Per Forsberg, who plans the WDOC sprint courses.
